As the entertainment industry struggles to more accurately represent diverse communities on and off the screen, we must also grapple with the role that movies and television have had in shaping beliefs and attitudes. What is the role of entertainment in moving us toward a more just society? What are the storylines we need in the current moment? This event by The Opportunity Agenda in collaboration with USC Annenberg’s Norman Lear Center explored these questions.
