After 11 days of competition, the 2016 Rio Paralympics have drawn to a close in Brazil.
The closing ceremony at the Maracana Stadium celebrated not just the achievements of athletes from around the world, but also the people of Brazil.
The Games' organisers said both the Paralympic and Olympic Games had been resounding successes this past summer.
