Local artist donates proceeds to feed school children on weekends
ST. GEORGE, Utah (8/13/2021) - With school back in session, Neighborhood Connection is again handing out it’s pantry packs to some elementary school children who otherwise might not have a lot to eat on the weekends.
Local artist Torie Denning heard about the needs of the non-profit program and held a charity art show at the Red Cliff Art Gallery.
The charity event was so successful she will hold another one on August 27 to raise even more money to help fulfill the needs.
