Indore - Lingampalli Humsafar Express is a superfast express train of the Indian Railways connecting Indore Junction in Madhya Pradesh and Lingampalli in Telangana. It is currently being operated with 09015/09016 train numbers on a weekly basis. It shares the rakes with 09372/09371 Puri - Indore Humsafar. Rake composition is currently 6 Non AC Sleeper, 10 3AC Sleepers, 1 Pantry car and 2 generator cars. Earlier it used to consist only of 3ACs. It is hauled by Ratlam shed's WDM3D throughout the journey. Enroute it halts at Vikarabad, Kalaburagi, Solapur, Pune, Panvel, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Ujjain, Indore.
The Deccan Express was launched much earlier in the 1960s for commuters travelling from Mumbai CST to Pune Junction. The train is operated by Indian Railways, coming under the Central Railway zone and it is one of the six-point-to-point express trains which carry thousands of passengers daily between Pune and Mumbai. The other five being the Sinhagad Express, Pragati Express, Deccan Queen, Indrayani Express and Intercity Express. Deccan Express is named from Deccan Plateau where Pune city is located.
