Ski tour to the summit of Carnedd Dafydd, 1044m, Snowdonia, North Wales.
We had a short hike from the A5 in the Ogwen Valley before putting skis on and skinning to the summit.
Southerly aspects had multiple layers of weakly bonded soft slab interspersed with graupel, so we stayed on low angle slopes.
Summit area was wind scoured but plenty of deep drifts to link turns before heading South on great powder.
