Members of the National Assembly now want the Ministry of Education to develop a comprehensive junior secondary school policy to address the shortcomings in the implementation of Competency Based Curriculum. The lawmakers who unanimously agreed that the 8-4-4 system has outlived its tenure want a proper funding plan developed leading to establishment of Junior Secondary in every primary school to ensure the new curriculum is implemented to optimal levels.
