Last week, we wrapped up two days at Sentech Africa Tech Week, embracing the theme 'Innovation Unleashed'. UVU Accelerate, UVU Africa's Entrepreneur Development & Incubation arm, contributed to key conversations around female entrepreneurship as well as young tech entrepreneurs. Lara Rosmarin, Head of Business Development and Incubation, shared her expertise in an interactive workshop "Breaking into the Boys Club", while Lungiswa Khethelo, Manager of the Khayelitsha Bandwidth Barn, highlighted the importance of supporting young tech entrepreneurs in the township economy during her panel "Upcoming Tech Talent and Equipping Young Tech Entrepreneurs."
