How to get to the Kiev airport: bus, taxi or transfer

Boryspil International Airport (KBP) - is the largest airport in Ukraine, and its transport infrastructure developed quite well. Let's take a look at it and answer the question of how to get to the city. This guide is also useful if you continue your journey and need to get to the airport from Kiev.
There are three the most popular ways:
1. Bus
It is regular and very reliable way that connects Kiev with the airport, also called Sky Bus.
You can find a bus near the exit from the airport and buy a ticket directly in the vehicle. In case you are going to the airport you can find the bus station near the south railway station of Kiev.
Buses are comfortable, with a separate compartment for your luggage.
The price is about 4 USD.

Usually, to get to the airport, it takes about:

❏ 40-50 minutes - usual trafic;
❏ 60-80 minutes - rush hour.

2. Taxi

Well, If in case of using Skybus you need to get to the south railway station first, taxi can catch you from anywhere you are in Kiev. It's very convenient - you can get to the airport right from you hotel, or apartments you rent and vise versa, you can get to the place you are staying directly from the airport as well.
It's also more private and comfortable, especially if you choose luxury taxi services, such as:

Travel time depends on your exit/destination point, but usually its no more that an hour. The price is about 10-15 USD.
How you can see, if you are a group of three, it's more profitable to take a taxi.

3. Transfer

This option is very convenient for large group of tourists that can not be placed into one taxi. For example, the TAXOBUS service, where you have the opportunity to choose a vehicle suitable for your group, as well as selecting additional amenities, such as:

❏ Car brand;
❏ Air conditioner;
❏ Heated seats;
❏ Baby chair;
❏ Environmental friendliness of the car, etc.

The cost of such transfer will depend directly on your requirements, but it definitely must be cheaper than taxi for your divided group.

Choose any way that will be convenient right for you to get to the airport or to get to Kiev and continue the journey destined for you.
