U.S. Marines and Sailors with Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment (Reinforced), Marine Rotational Force reconnaissance with live ammunition and unknown distances with Australian Army Soldiers with Support Company, 5th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, Brigade 1, 1st Division, in preparation for the Predators Walk at Mount Bundey Training Area. Marines and Sailors work alongside their Australian Army counterparts to deliver long-range precision fire on specific targets from hidden positions. Piloting several small unmanned aircraft systems at Robertson Barracks, Darwin. Marines practice flying a variety of hand-launched sUAS. This exercise is to enhance interoperability with Australian and Allied Defense Forces and partners and provide a forward-looking crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
