On October 2, 2013 Dave Rearick left Newport, RI on a planned 30,000 mile solo circumnavigation of the globe aboard the Class40 racer, Bodacious Dream. Along the way, we will be sharing all sorts of learnings and discoveries over our satellite Internet connection. In this video Dave is in Cape Town, S.A. and on Table Mountain and explaining the story of McClear's Beacon and how it was used nearly 170 years ago to map out the coastline around Cape Town.
