Ep 3. Chipotle’s Chicken Recipe
I used to work at Chipotle and I fell in love with their food. But, recently their prices have gotten so expensive. So, I decided to make this series and share my knowledge. All of Chipotle’s recipe healthy ingredients and are so easy to make.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4-6 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 7 Oz Can of Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 Tsp Dried Oregano
- 2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3/4 Cup of Water
DIRECTIONS:
1. Blend the Marinade: In a blender, combine the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, garlic cloves, cumin powder, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, chili powder, olive oil, and water. Blend until smooth.
2. Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken thighs in a large bowl or bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
3. Preheat the Grill: When ready to cook, preheat your grill (or skillet, pan, etc) to medium-high heat.
4. Grill the Chicken: Cook the chicken thighs for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and are nicely charred.
5. Rest and Serve: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Chipotle chicken!
