How to Transfer Music from PC Computer to iTunes

In this first of a three part tutorial on itunes we will demonstrate how to import music from your computer or external device to itunes.

To figure out what version you are using have a look at the desktop icon that was created on your desktop during the download, the newer version used in this tutorial is easily identified by the white music bar icon, the older version has a black music bar on the blue icon.

In this tutorial we will discuss how to import your song files from your music folder on your PC to itunes, this is required as your iphone or mobile devise will only recognise music files that are stored in your itunes and does not interact direct with your iphone.

This has caused much confusion as the old method of transferring music to an MP3 player only required you to drag and drop these files direct into your MP3 layer that did communicate direct with your devise.
