In the Music Real E42, Nicki chats with Dr Mark Bin Bakar and Graham “Buzz” Bidstrup – two gentlemen who have dedicated their lives to creating meaningful music and health programs in remote indigenous communities. Multi Award winning Producer, Artist, Comedian, Speaker, Artist Manager and Label, Mark is based in Broome, so I wanted to know how the lockdown was treating him and the community up there. Mark has been employed by the WA government in COVID 19 Health campaigns throughout the lockdown. Iconic Australian Rock Royalty Artist, Producer, Songwriter, Buzz, as the CEO for Thumbs Up, is launching the Good Tucker App however lockdown halted his plans to be out in the community. Both Mark and Buzz use music as a pathway to bring healthcare awareness to Indigenous Australian communities.
