After meeting with Croatian President Franjo Tudjman in Zagreb, on
Saturday (14/10), the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. John
Shalikashvili said that the two men had discussed some of the
major tasks for NATO. He said he was hopeful that the talks
scheduled for the end of the month would be a success.
