Kalki 2898 AD released on 27 June. It is the story of 6000 years after Mahabharat. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas. It also has dashing cameos like Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur and SS Rajamouli. Some people are praising it, while some are disliking it. In an interview with The Lallantop, director Nag Ashwin reveals the inspiration behind making the film. He also talks about Indian buzz for Marvel films. He wishes to make same level films in India too. He also shares how the film has actually inspired many to go and read Mahabharat.
