Before trying the bluing on a larger scale I thought I'd tackle a smaller job, namely the Webley Tempest barrel.

It wasn't too bad but looked slightly tired and would be a good candidate.

The following was used:

Birchwood Casey Degreaser
Birchwood Casey Blue and Rust Remover
Birchwood Casey Perma Blue
Birchwood Casey Barricade

The steps were pretty simple and the end result was quite good and something I'd be confident in doing to much larger pieces on the HW80
