It has a Cummins 320 horsepower, 8-cylinder, 903 cubic-inch, diesel engine that can do about 270 horsepower on the drawbar. Back in 1977 this tractor would have cost you about $60,500 US dollars or about $260,600 US dollars in 2018. Gerald Carolan bought his Steiger Panther III new in 1976 and still farms with it today.
