Shifting on a Can-Am Spyder is very easy. It has a Semi-Automatic transmission and uses a Paddle Shifter to change gears. The main problem I had when I first drove the Spyder was putting it in Reverse.
This video shows the basics of using reverse, shifting gears, and the "kill switch" or engine stop switch for a Can-Am Spyder F3 that has the Semi-automatic transmission and paddle shifter. Hopefully this series will answer any basic questions you have on riding or driving the Spyder F3 and also is the same shifting process for the Spyder RT models as well.
This is the first video in a series I will have showing you the controls, special features, and how to ride a Spyder F3, called "Learn to Ride".
