The C-Axis is formed as a round table and is mounted on the post (Z-Axis)
allowing positioning of the machine head about the vertical axis of the post.
The range of swivel is 200 degrees (10 Deg. - 180 Deg, -10 Deg). The drive is
by means of precision screw with adjustable backlash Servo Driven (Siemens)
coupled to worm shaft. Hydraulic Clamping. Heidenhain DRO with glass scales.
(1) 5-Axis B-Axis tilting machine head is designated B-Axis where the range of
the tilt is +/- 25 Deg. about the horizontal axis. It is built onto the C-Axis
round table. Equipped the machine with a B-Axis and C-Axis offers the
possibility of including several grinding operations in one automatic cycle,
i.e. grinding flutes, peripheral grinding and end face working. The machine
spindle can thus be adjusted to various angles or tilted by means of a program during automatic operation.
