Introducing the 2025 Nissan Sentra: A Refined Compact Sedan with Enhanced Features and Pricing Details
Nissan proudly presents the 2025 Nissan Sentra, a compact budget sedan designed to deliver style, functionality, and value. The latest model continues to build on its predecessor’s success, offering minor updates while maintaining the exceptional quality that has made the Sentra a favorite among drivers.
Key Features and Updates: The 2025 Nissan Sentra arrives as a carryover model with minimal changes following a significant refresh in 2024. Among the notable updates for this year, the SV trim now offers the option to include NissanConnect Services for just $200. This feature enables remote functionalities such as engine start and stop, door locking and unlocking, and vehicle health reports via the MyNissan app. Additionally, the sedan can be equipped with a Wi-Fi hotspot, enhancing in-cabin technology.
Nissan also introduces the Nissan Maintenance Care Program, offering up to three oil changes over two years or 24,000 miles, ensuring the Sentra remains in optimal condition.
Pricing: With a modest increase in pricing, the 2025 Nissan Sentra's MSRPs, including a $1,140 destination charge, are as follows:
- Sentra S: $22,730 (up $1,005)
- Sentra SV: $23,430 (up $775)
- Sentra SR: $25,730 (up $915)
These prices reflect slight adjustments compared to the 2024 model, which saw mid-year price increases. Despite these changes, the 2025 Sentra continues to offer exceptional value in the compact sedan segment.
Performance and Specifications: Under the hood, the 2025 Sentra retains its reliable 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through Nissan's Xtronic CVT, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. Notably, the 2024 updates included a re-tuned CVT with an idle start/stop system, enhancing fuel efficiency by an additional mile per gallon in city, highway, and combined driving.
The Sentra also comes standard with an array of advanced safety and convenience features, including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, blind spot warning, high beam assist, lane departure warning, and rear automatic braking.
As Nissan looks to streamline its sedan offerings, with plans to discontinue the subcompact Versa in 2025 and the midsize Altima in 2026, the Sentra is set to become the cornerstone of Nissan's sedan lineup. The 2025 model continues to offer the reliability, style, and affordability that drivers have come to expect from this iconic vehicle.
