What problem are you trying to solve?

The overly-complicated research process of finding budget-friendly sustainable products is the problem Greener Cheaper solves. This problem discourages customers from making more sustainable purchases, leading to unhealthy consumerism.

Greener Cheaper is an organized dataset of 100+ sustainable products with prices ranging from $1 to $1000. Each product has further information on its environmental impact, a rating on different sustainability factors (green materials, transportation, etc.), and more! It simplifies finding budget-friendly ways of transitioning into a sustainable life by making it effortless to find truly sustainable products that match your price range. Why this theme was important to you?

As a person living in the modern age, it is my responsibility to make sustainable decisions to combat climate change. But at the same time, as a kid, I don’t have enough money to install solar panels or buy an electric bike, so I often get deterred from sustainable decisions. Additionally, the headache behind making sure those purchases are going to a safe and reliable company was ever present. I made Greener Cheaper to combat those exact problems and make sustainability easier for everyone on a budget.
