(ARLINGTON, Virginia) June 26, 2012 - Seven members of the All-Marine Warrior Games team were honored during ceremonies at the Pentagon. U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta commended all of the all athletes in attendance for their efforts at the 2012 Warrior Games. In addition to the All-Marine team, athletes from the Army, Air Force, Navy/Coast Guard and Special Operations Command teams were on hand. The All-Marine team won the Chairman's Cup for the third year in a row in 2012 with 89 total medals. The day after the ceremony, the All-Marine team members visited the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico and watched the Marine Corps' Sunset Parade on the grounds of the Iwo Jima Memorial in Arlington. Their trip was organized and supported by the USMC Wounded Warrior Regiment.
