My Recipe for Bloom Technique
My Pillow; Beautitone signature, eggshell, or velvet white house paint, white or black.
My PM; changed so, 3 parts Beautitone semi gloss, untinted clear base, house paint, too 1 part, minwax Polycrylic varnish or Varathane varnish.and 1 pt JoSonja gloss
varnish.
The paints are then mixed 2-3 parts Pouring Medium, to 1 part paint. water to thin.
For Pigments add a small amount of pm to cup, then add your pigments to wet.and mix, then add the rest of PM.
***Cell Maker, is 3 parts Australian Floetrol, to 1 Part Titanium white, Amsterdam paint or Amsterdam oxide black.
***New Cell Activator Alternative to Austrailian floetrol. 1Part American or Cdn. floetrol to 1 part Zinsser Latex Extender, mixture, then I add 1 part paint to 1 1/2 parts mixture to right consistency. I use Amsterdam white or black, usually.
***New Cell Activator, 1 tsp amsterdam oxide black, or titanium white Paint, to 3 tsp floetrol, and 3-4 drops of WD40 Silicone. paint should be opaque.
***another Cell Activator, 1 tsp.amsterdam opaque, paint to 2 1/2 tblsp floetrol

** It's a good idea to wear gloves and a respirator, and work in a ventilated area, when mixing, some ingredients can be toxic, like varnish, wood conditioner, polyacrylic, floetrol, polyurethane, and resin.
My Standard Paint Recipe is: Adjustments are made depending on the technique I'm doing.
1 part paint, craft paint, to 1/2 pts floetrol. 1 part tube paint, to - 1 parts floetrol, and add water to get the right consistency. flows off stick in a steady stream, like warm honey.
add Treadmill silicone or coconut milk, hair product (dimethicone) to paint colors. 1 drop per 1- 2 ounces of paint stir not to much for larger cells, more for smaller cells.
