This is something I did over a month ago for fun. I've always wondered how to perform a cyber attack and I guess this is the first one I ever did.
I think this is the best video to explains what a TCP SYN flood attack is.

The video honestly made me realize how easy it is to simulate the attack as they do show a live demonstration. It didn't take me long to understand and also replicate it myself. However, I do have a little background knowledge on the world of cybersecurity as I have followed a course.
For those interested this video is the one that got me interested in cybersecurity in general and might actually be something I pursue in the future as a career.
