One of the big lessons we haven't learned at this point in our search, is to not make any deals before seeing the boat in person. I talked with the owner of this boat several times before we saw the boat in person. I actually tried to make a deal before we even saw the boat. Luckily for us the owner was not willing to come down on her asking price around $70k
No regrets and we are glad to have had the chance to view this boat and learn some new things to look for when shopping for a project sailboat.
