Male child 3 years old
Parents noticed recurrent swelling in the right side of neck of child during crying
about 2 mths.
No trauma. No other complaints.
Th child was referred from the ENT doctor for ultrasound to rule out a brachial cyst
Swelling pointed by parents - Dilated internal jugular vein on right side.
Swelling was clinically visible during crying only.
in this video the right IJV is shown first in tranverse section then the left side then both sides with the probe in the midline for comparison
in the end the right IJV is shown in longitudinal section
