Rohypnol - known as the Date Rape Drug, easily slipped into a drink without a person knowing. The symptoms of this drug can produce vomiting, blacking out and even paralysis.
Being extra cautious when out and drinking there are some key things that one should always remember.
- Do not accept drinks from a stranger
- Watch the bartender pour the drinks from a licensed bottle, if you suspect anything or there have been known incidences at the venue you are attending.
- have one person in your party be declared the one who does not drink.
- stick close together and don't split up.
When we are traveling and on vacation we want to have fun and usually our inhibitions are less and we are more trusting of those around us and the things we do. This is usually when you are a prime target for all kinds of misdemeanors.
