Prapanch is a Marathi show on Zee Marathi released in 1999 and went on till 2002. There is only one season and each episode is 30 minutes long. Maya Communications was the production company of the show. Some of the actors were Sunil Barve, Bharat Jadhav, Rasika Joshi, Sudhir Joshi Suhas Joshi, Rekha Kamat, among many more.

The show tells the story of Deshmukh's family and their effort to keep up with changing times in society. The whole family lives together in the Ashray house. The head of the family is a freedom fighter, while his wife is a kind woman. Their eldest son has three children with his wife, while their younger son has two daughters.

The family is tightly knit, and they are bound tightly together by good values. The family has minor differences, but they solve them with each other's immense support. Their main topic for argument would be whether to leave their ancestral house and buy a home in a tower with separate rooms for everyone. Each member has different opinions and thought processes, which forms the subplot in each episode. Pratima Kulkarni was the director and writer of the show and the show was an all-time favourite of the Marathi audience.
