Hunting for Snowshoe Hare in the Winter Snow. Me and my .22 rifle walking through the woods looking for snowshoe hare. With deer season wrapped up, we've now turned our focus on to preparing for next deer season as well as small game hunting. Today I had an hour of free time so I went hunting through some big woods on public land, hoping to find a few snowshoe hares to cook over the Christmas season.
