Ancient Tuscan farmhouse dating back to 1600, renovated in 1780, hidden in the Tuscan countryside of wild flowers and olive trees.

This is a historic residence, inhabited historically by a family of local farmers who have always cared for it with respect and love, just a few steps away from the beautiful city of Petrognano (Lucca). The part that is rented is 120 sqm and has completely maintained the characteristics and style of the true rustic Tuscan.

The property is divided in a central body consisting of an old farmhouse and in a guest house built in the old barn.
In the farmhouse you can still see the old walled larder used for storing bread and cakes, with its original 17th century boards and lock; the larder is currently used for laundry.

The hamlet is surrounded by over 2 hectares of olives trees, a lawn, lovely flowerbeds and an olive grove, with an outdoor living room perfect for family or friends dinner, or to chill out with a book and a preferred cocktails. Below, there is a beautiful pool faces the countryside, but still preserving its own privacy, the ideal place to sunbathe while enjoying a breathtaking view from which you can admire the sea of Versilia and Livorno and Gorgona Island to the whole area of Florence, Pisa and the plain of Lucca.

The house in fact, is a "special logistical base" to be close to and visit the most important cities of Tuscany: Lucca, Florence, Pisa , Siena , Viareggio , Versilia. In addition to the beautiful Apuan Alps, Garfagnana, Massa Carrara.

This farmhouse boasts a typical interior that perfectly matches with the countryside. It has 2 floors, the ground floor praises a wide living room with classic sitting area and a wood beamed ceiling, a traditional Tuscan kitchen with dining area, a laundry area, and a courtesy bathroom. Upstairs, there are 3 bright and spacious bedrooms with stunning views, each one with a beamed ceiling and one bathroom with shower.
