Well this truck was certainly a surprise to see! Didn't know This would be coming through my area, or even that we had the demo scorpion. Recently Solid Waste Systems purchased a scorpion from DaDee to demo around the Washington and other surrounding areas. They got this truck a few months ago. I believe this is one of the first places that it has started to do demoing in. For my first time seeing a scorpion, i was very impressed. However I do think that the grippers need improvement so they hug the carts rather than pinching them which can create unnecessary stress to the cart. Other than that I really like this truck, which is something considering I don't like new trucks at all. Just pretty cool to see the original scorpion demo truck videos from 2008 of the hopper footage, the original prototypes and stuff. Now here we are, trucks all over the place from DaDee and one in front of my house. Never would have expected that to happen if you asked me that in 2008. Enjoy my footage of the Scorpion demo!
