So, to follow this tutorial, you need Vegas Pro (probably any version, though I demonstrate using Vegas Pro 13.0) and the original and instrumental versions of a song you want to make a karaoke video for.
I've subtitled this video in English, but if anyone wants to translate those subtitles to another language, I'm sure you'd be helping people out.
