The United States is Preparing the Philippines for a Possible WAR with China
The United States has launched Project 33, a strategic plan to bolster its Navy's readiness for potential conflict with China by 2027, aligning with China's military buildup and its goal of preparing the PLA for action by 2030. Spearheaded by Admiral Lisa Franchetti, the plan focuses on technological advancements, recruitment, and enhanced combat training, integrating lessons from conflicts in the Red and Black Seas. Strengthening partnerships in the Indo-Pacific, particularly through the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) with the Philippines, is central to this strategy.
