This Thanksgiving, I skipped the feast and focused on me. 💚 For the first time since my tower moment, I prepared spinach, jerk black beans, rice, blackened salmon patties, and a dessert of strawberries and blueberries. 🍓✨
After losing sight of self-care and falling into unhealthy habits, this was a painful but necessary step in my healing journey. Reclaiming the act of preparing food as an act of love for myself wasn’t easy, but it reminded me of my strength and the importance of self-love. 🦋
