A U-S aircraft carrying over a hundred British troops destined for the U-N Rapid Reaction Force arrived in Split, Wednesday morning.
The soldiers flew into Croatia as tensions rise amid fears of wider conflict in the Balkans.
More troops arrived Wednesday at the airport in Split destined to swell out the numbers of the Rapid Reaction Force.
The soldiers are from Britain's 24th air mobile brigade.
Not only man power but large amounts of equipment arrived on the plane and were unloaded to be taken to Ploce where the Rapid Reaction Force is gathering.
The troops are made up of teams from the Signal Squadron, Combat Service Support Battalion and the 72 aircraft workshop, responsible for repairs.
They know they've flown in at a very dangerous time.
SOUNDBITE: (English)

SUPER CAPTION:Colum de Sales Murphy, Spokesman for the Rapid Reaction Force
He also said they'd be reviewing their strategy again, now that Croatia has joined in the fighting.
