At the start of business every sitting day Monday to Thursday, the House of Lords quizzes government on any topic. Government ministers or spokespeople must answer members’ questions, and any member may take part. On Thursday 14 February in #LordsQs:
- Lord Greaves asked government what progress it had made implementing the EU Settlement Scheme
- Lord Storey asked what the government’s assessment was of salary levels in multi-academy trusts
- Lord Addington asked government for the costs to parents and local authorities of appealing education, health and care plan decisions
- Baroness Blackstone asked the government for its assessment of the Crown Prosecution Service’s policy on cases of encouraging or assisting suicide
