Musikgarten Activity - Rhythm and Tonal Patterns are the foundation of music reading. Musikgarten Teacher Mary Rekers found a creative way to do this while teaching online. Some of these ideas will also work great while teaching in-person.
Musikgarten President Jeff Spickard, is joined by Musikgarten Teacher Trainer, teacher, and past Early Childhood Music and Movement President Amy Rucker, as well as long time piano teacher, Musikgarten teacher, and Early Childhood Music and Movement Chair of Level II certification Ellen Johansen.
Musikgarten is the best of early childhood music education.
We believe that all children are musical, music meets the needs of children, music benefits the whole child, music must be introduced early and involve the family, and that adults should observe and follow the child.
We offer teachers the best training and teacher resources to help them use music to teach the whole child while also offering families the best recordings and family materials.
