While browsing Facebook Marketplace, I came across a Russian generator, the GAB-1-O/230. The owner was offering it for free in as-found condition. When I went to pick it up, he told me how it had served him well for many years at his cottage. However, it hadn’t been used in over ten years, and it clearly showed – a broken spark plug, missing ignition cable, cracked fuel hose, and a massive amount of dust. While loading it, I was struck by its weight – it’s really heavy, definitely over fifty kilos. Once I got it into the garage, I had to take a closer look, and I made a video for you showing how I tried to get it running again.
