Music composed by Margrethe Munthe (1860-1931). "På låven sitter nissen" is a traditional Norwegian Christmas song. The original name of the song was "Nissen og rotterne" ("Santa and the rats"). An english translation of the song called "The nisse in the barn has got his Christmas treat" also exists.
