Today, for the first time on the channel, I'm going to be reviewing a beer from the North Coast Brewing Company, and it's their Tart Cherry Berliner Weisse. This is a Berliner Weisse that is brewed with Michigan Montmorency cherry juice. It's the perfect time of year to start enjoying beers like this, so let's see if it's as refreshing as I think it is!

Commercial Description:

Michael Jackson describes "Berlin White Beer" as having an "insistent sparkle, a fragrant fruitiness in the nose, a sharp, dry palate, and a frisson of quenching, sour acidity in the finish."

North Coast Tart Cherry Berliner Weisse is made with the juice of Michigan Montmorency cherries, whose addition softens the lactic finish of the beer and gives it a springtime blush.
