Alan Tarney and Trevor Spencer, better known as the Tarney/Spencer Band, released two singles that made the charts; "It's Really You" (BB-1978/#86) and a song that made the charts twice, in both 1979 and 1981, "No Time To Lose". In 1979, "No Time To Lose" peaked at #84 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1979 and #74 on the Cash Box Top 100 that same year. The number 74 must be the band's lucky number, because "No Time To Lose" peaked at #74 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Cash Box Top 100 when it was re-released in 1981. The song sounds a little bit like something Muse, Keane, or Ben Folds Five would perform. If you're a fan of those three bands, then this song is worth a listen. This comes from the original vinyl 45.
