[11:52] 2️⃣ Focus on outcomes over overput
[12:25] 3️⃣ Link to your current strategic goals and your vision
[13:10] 4️⃣ Know your audience
[13:42] 5️⃣ Call out the problem you will solve
[14:10] 6️⃣ Define clear success criteria
[15:31] 7️⃣ Don’t plan too much ahead
[17:27] 8️⃣ Always highlight discovery and delivery activities
[19:21] 9️⃣ Focus on problem & goals and leave the solution to the team
[20:30] 🔟 Don’t forget to include scaling/infrustructure work
Your roadmap should communicate the product plan and align your whole organization around it. Useful product roadmaps can take time to create, but they also give stakeholders on different teams the insights they need and ultimately boost productivity among your team and, boosts confidence in your product leadership.
