Cormorants are smart - some say they can even count to 8. These birds - trained since birth to fish for humans - know exactly when their master’s had too much to drink and take full advantage.
Many Westerners rightfully object to the way fishing cormorants are treated. This video in no way minimizes that concern. That said, you can see that this fisherman - even in his inebriated state - truly cares about his birds.
