The description can be read as follows;

1) After finishing with a great railfanning session with Rishad Ghiara at Chiplun, we were waiting for our train. Arrival time was 16:50Hrs but at 19:15Hrs, 01040 Karmali Mumbai Cst Ac Special with PUNE WDM-3D# 11175 came to a dead halt. We were expecting this train to arrive with ICF rake but it turned to be a LHB rake and all coaches were June 2016 manufactured. Entire train is 3AC. We departed at 19:20Hrs, 2hrs 30mins late.

2) At Diwankhauti station, we were held up for a crossing and in 2mins, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mangalore Matsyagandha Express majestically curves, honks and superbly accelerates. The station was almost blackout, only where I was standing there was a low voltage tubelight and managed to get a video of it.

3) We speed through Karanjadi station of Konkan Railway. Most of the rural stations of KR will be seen in this fashion .

4) At Nagothane station, we cross another LHB Ac Special called Pune Mangalore Ac Special.

5) Speeding through Somatne station at good speed on a chilly night.

6) We depart from Panvel at 22:10Hrs. From Chiplun to Panvel, we managed to make up 50mins.

7) Showing great aggression at Kalamboli Goods Yard station.

8) Capturing the interiors of June 2016 Manufactured 3 Tier Ac Sleeper LHB Coach.

9) Overtaking an emu and going past Kurla at sheer speed

We reached Dadar at 23:34hrs, only 1hr late. We were really lucky to get great clearance and such a great run all the way. Also I managed to reach home a few minutes just before start of 01/01/2017.
