Feeling sore, tired or unmotivated at work? Watch for 5 quick tips from the IKEA Home Tour Squad for a more ergonomic workspace! More from IKEA Home Tour here: [ Ссылка ]
1. Use a height-adjustable desk like the BEKANT desk from IKEA so you're less tired and more productive throughout the day. Take advantage of a standing desk to help reduce neck pain, back pain and work fatigue.
2. If you plan on sitting while you work, select an ergonomic chair with adjustable height and tilt so your body is less strained during long work days. Set the height of the chair so your knees are at a 90-degree angle with your feet flat on the ground. Test the chair out to ensure it has proper lumbar support for your lower back.
3. Use an adjustable footrest like the DAGOTTO from IKEA to help you sit in a good working position and reduce strain on your legs, arms and back.
4. Give yourself plenty of lighting for the task at hand to reduce eye fatigue and help you stay alert.
5. Determine where your computer screen should be placed on your desk by looking straight ahead. Your eye line should meet the very top of your screen.
