Embossed Vegetable tanned (veg tan) leather. This is a review of the first time using a new leather, the embossed luxury veg tan. This vegetable tanned leather embossed crocodile leather really caught my eye out of the box. I discovered some good and some bad with the leather and this video gives my review on the luxury vegetable tanned leather from Rocky Mountain Leather Supply. The crocodile embossed vegetable tanned leather shown is military green at 2.5 ounces and a firm vegetable tanned leather. These reviews can help beginner leather workers choose the right leather for their projects to promote success and limit frustrations when first starting in leather working.
The video shows a few small projects with the embossed croc and some of my initial thoughts being my first time using this item. I want to explore some new leathers and different applications and this vegetable tanned leather was great for a few small wallets but would not recommend for beginner leather workers or beginner leather projects.
