After being brought to notice about the beautiful Castlegar-scenery by stevemed2010 (or more properly, West Kootenay Regional Airport, CYCG, from the X-Plane.org) in British Columbia, I came by this video - [ Ссылка ] - showing a 737-300 landing at this beautiful place. Of course, with a 5200ft runway, and with the mountainous terrain impinging on both runway approaches, precluding a straight approach, it is not suitable for big jets to go down there.
But as seen in the above video, it happens. Hence, I thought I would try something similar, a circle-to-land approach, in the default B737 (Zibos great mod). I did not study very much how to properly do so, but did manage to get down safely after a couple attempts. The major difficulty, of course, is to perform the circle, as there is not much room for adjustments if you don’t come in reasonably straight. Great fun!
Enjoy!
