A cold front moving through the Midwest brought heavy snow to parts of Michigan on Monday, amid winter storm warnings in the area, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.
The NWS forecasted that snow in upper Michigan would diminish Monday afternoon, but that "steadier snow" would continue in north-central areas into Tuesday morning.
Plus, parts of Wisconsin were also blanketed with snow on Oct. 17. Snow showers continued in the area, creating hazardous travel conditions, the NWS warned.
Power outages in the area remained possible throughout Monday, the NWS added.
