Finally its time for justice, the long pending Legendary Karnataka Express gets its share of LHB Coaches. A Diwali gift to travelers from Bengaluru to Delhi and vice versa, thus making train travel more comfortable. On the other hand its an end of ICF Era with the Twin ALCO's hauling the 24 loaded ICF Coaches , which had been the signature of Karnataka Express (KK) since the 80's has finally come to an end leaving loads of memories behind.
The train will now run with a WAP7 loco end to end. A WDP4D will piggy back the WAP7 in shut down mode between WADI - DAUND Section where Electrification is still under progress.The same WAP7 will resume its journey from Daund and the Diesel loco will be detached.
