This is a great fit if you're already making or are planning to make big power, thanks to a forced induction setup or nitrous. You can use this clutch on a street, track or strip car. This clutch will fit on 2003 to 2014 Ford Mustangs, including the GT, Boss 302, Mach 1 and Cobra models. Solid Features. Because this is a twin disc clutch, it has strong holding capabilities, but the pedal feel is comfortable, so you're not killing your leg each time you drive your Mustang. The friction plates are made of organic material, helping to reduce heat and help with longevity. Because of the nature of this twin disc clutch, you will experience some noise at idle, but that's normal for this kind of unit. Professional Installation. Unless you have extensive experience with clutch installations, this is a job best left to a professional mechanic. It does involve dropping the transmission, which is the majority of the work. You should also upgrade the flywheel at the same time. This job should take a shop or you about 4 hours to wrap up.
